Real quartet receive U20 call up

Former Real de Banjul boss Mattar M'BogeNational Junior Scorpions coach Mattar M'Boge has handed debut U-20 call ups to four Real de Banjul stars ahead of next year's AFCON U20 qualifiers.

M'Boge who won the GFF League title in 2014 with the City Boys during his brief spell was recently appointed as U20s boss and he has invited four players from his former club as he starts preparations.

Young goalkeeper Ahmed Tijan has been included in the provisional squad following his return to the first team after spending last season on loan.

Fan favorite Pa Modou Sohna makes the cut alongside new signing Modou Lamin Demba and the mercurial Alasana Jatta.

"I think it's important to highlight that this is a team for the future and we've placed greater emphasis on player potential and player development as we feel that this is key priority for the U20s". M'Boge told the GFF website.

The young scorpions will start training this weekend at the National Training Centre in Yundum.
