Buba Sanneh off to HorsensReal de Banjul Football Club is delighted to announce that captain Bubacarr Sanneh will depart Gambia for Denmark tomorrow to link up with his new team AC Horsens.

The 19-year-old was waiting for his work permit from the Danish Immigration Service which was finally given to him by the Danish Embassy in Bamako, Mali, this week.

President William Abraham told Realdebanjul.gm: “Buba is a great example for all African players and one of the most disciplined players in The Gambia. The young players coming up should really follow his footsteps. He will do great at Horsens and we wish him all the best.”

Sanneh has won over a hundred caps for Real de Banjul since joining the club in the 2010/2011 League season.

He is the current captain of the team and guided it to its second title in two years in the recently concluded League Division One season.

Before his departure, Buba told Realdebanjul.gm: “I am very happy to be joining AC Horsens. They are a club that I believe just like Real, will aid in my development as a professional footballer.”

“The Danish league is a league I know very well because we had Gambian players playing there like Ousman Jallow. Football is all about playing your part and doing your best. I will continue to deliver just like how I do with Real de Banjul. I am excited with the move and I am ready for the next challenge.”

Just like he did in Real de Banjul, the Gambia defender has decided to continue wearing the number 15 jersey at AC Horsens.

The entire management, staff and players at the Club would like to wish Buba well during his stay in Denmark with AC Horsens.
