Foday named MVP as Real finished fourth

Real de Banjul winger Foday Manneh was named the most valuable player by the organising committee as Real finishes fourth in the fifth edition of the Tournoi International held in Ziguinchor.

The winger lit up the tournament with his trademark runs and skill earning him the poster boy tag inside the Stade Aline Sitoe Diatta over the past seven days.

Real however finished fourth after again losing on penalties, this time to Ndiambour after a goalless 90 minutes in which they dominated possession and created numerous goalscoring chances.

Jaraaf of Dakar eaged the Gambia Ports Authority 1-0 in the final to be crowned champions. Gregory Sambou of the Gambia Ports Authority missed a penalty in the first half which the Gambian side dominated.

Muhamed Kaba of GPA was rewarded for his stellar performances in midfield as he received the Revelation of the tournament award with the golden boot going to Jaraaf.

Real will head back home preparing for another pre-season tournament in Dakar this weekend before the national league kicks off.
