Real share spoils with Jaraaf

Real de Banjul maintained its unbeaten run in the Tournoi International with an eventful 1-1 draw against Senegalese giants Jaraaf on Wednesday night.

Right full back Saikou Mansally converted from the spot after Pa Modou Sohna was brought down in the Jaraaf area after 25 minutes.

Before that Real had several chances which all went begging, Foday Manneh and Edi Ndow were guilty of missed opportunities.

Goalkeeper Ebrima Jarju was in top form despite conceding in the last minute of the first period. The Gambia U-20 shot stopper produced some fine saves to keep the score level.

Real changed personnel and formation in the second period to try and force for the win but Jaraaf hanged on for the stalemate as the two sides remain on top of Group A.

Jaraaf will now face Mepa on Thursday evening whiles Casa Sports takes on Real de Banjul at 21:00 GMT.
