Real de Banjul signs partnership with The Football Network

The Football NetworkReal de Banjul is pleased to announce that it has signed a partnership contract with Swedish football marketing company, The Football Network.

The Club signed a two-year partnership contract with the company which had agreed to help the Club in various areas and to help promote it as one of Gambia’s most successful club.

Real de Banjul draws FUS de Rabat in Champions League

CAF Champions LeagueReal de Banjul have been drawn against 2011/12 Moroccan Botola Pro runner-up Fath Union Sport de Rabat [FUS de Rabat] in the preliminary round of the 2013 CAF Champions League.

The draw was held on Sunday, 9th December in Cairo, Egypt. The City Boys will first face an away trip at the 52,000 capacity Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat for the first leg on the weekend of 15–17 February 2013 with the return fixture scheduled for Gambia in the first week of March.

Real de Banjul cleared of match fixing allegations

Real de Banjul has now being formally informed by the Gambia Football Association that the Armed Forces allegation of Match Fixing between Real-de-Banjul/Young Africans is FALSE...

"The taskforce concluded that allegation made by Pa Samba Mbenga against Real and Young Africans were not substantiated" and for those who knew the History of Real de Banjul and the people running the club at the moment would know that we shall never be involved in anything like that ever!

Real wins eleventh GFA League title

Real wins league titleReal de Banjul have won the GFA First Division League for the first time in five years following an impressive 3-1 win over Young Africans in the final game of the season played at the KG5 Mini-Stadium on Sunday.


The city boys came into the game needing only a win and were at their best on the night, dominating play from start to finish and scoring three successive goals before their opponents pulled one back in the closing minutes of the game.

Ebrima Cham joins Kalju

Ebrima ChamReal de Banjul Football Club will like to announce that our captain Ebrima Cham alias S.I, has left us to join Estonian Meistriliiga [top tier] side JK Nõmme Kalju.

Ebrima Cham, 20, left The Gambia to join compatriot Yankuba “Mal” Ceesay at the Estonian Meistriliiga side by signing a four-year contract.
